If you’re travelling during the monsoon from June to November, you’ll want to pack a lightweight raincoat as well. A day pack and a comfy pair of trainers and flip-flops/sandals are also advised.
If you’re visiting temples, make sure to cover from shoulder to below the knee – this applies to all genders.
