This 12 days active adventure in Vietnam & Laos is a perfectly planned itinerary designed for travelers who likes to experience off the beaten path while visiting all the must see destinations. The day by day private guided sightseeing introduce with local culture including cities like Hanoi, Sapa, Halong Bay, Oudomxay & Luang Prabang.

Welcome to Hanoi where you meet with your tour guide and transfer to your hotel in the old quarter. Depending on the time of arrival the rest of the day is yours to start soaking up the local culture.

Private sightseeing today includes a tour through the Ho Chi Minh Quarter, learning about this major figure of Vietnamese history. See his Mausoleum and the Presidential Palace, along with the humble Stilt House he called home. Also visit One Pillar Pagoda and the Confucian Temple of Literature. End the day’s explorations with a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter and enjoy a flavourful Vietnamese egg coffee.

Rise early this morning for a beautiful sunrise over the bay. Return to Hanoi after brunch on deck and enjoy an afternoon at leisure. Tonight private transfer to teh train station, board an overnight train to Sapa

Oevrnight train to Sapa

Arrive in Sapa early in the morning, you will be picked up for an hour scenic ride toward Sapa. Check in and rest, later in the afternoon, our around the hill-tribe villages passing by lush pine forests to visit Ma Tra, home to H’mong & Red Zao minorities. meet locals and on teh way back, we stop to see the ruins of Ta Phin monastery.

Start the day with refreshing breakfast and a cup of Vietnamese coffee. Pick up and trek toward the lush forests and through the postcard perfect rice paddies to Nam Cang Village. Time to visit local minority houses, old school and get to know the hill-tribe life in the middle of rice terraces.

Accommodation 4 star at Amazing hotel Sapa

Today we head to Ngu Chi Son mountain for an off the beaten pass trek and a visit to the village of Ta Giang Phinh, home to black H’mong minorities. Surrounded by high mountains, the village is a great place to meet and interact with H’mong ethnic groups. Later transfer back to hotel where a private trasnfer will take you back to Hanoi from teh newly build Lao-Cai- Noi Bai highway.

Active Adventure in Vietnam and Laos, 12 days itinerary and today we begin the day at the National Museum, housed in the former royal palace. Drive out of the city, stopping for a visit to Ock Pop Tok Weaving Centre, before heading to the natural splendour of Kuang Si Waterfalls. Enjoy the vivid blue terraced pools that tumble down through their forest setting, taking a dip or relaxing by the water’s edge.

Private transfer to Oudomxay province, a 5 hour scenic ride through the local hamlets and this brings you a new Laos you dont often see. Nestled in the mountains of northern Laos, Oudomxay province borders China & remains one of Southeast Asia’s hidden gems, largely untouched by mass tourism. The area is home to more than 500 tribes and villages, where traditional ways of life continue to thrive, and each ethnic group retains its distinct language and customs.

Accommodation 5 star at Namkat yorla Pa resort & Spa

Set on an off-road adventure to see a small Khamu market. Continue following a picturesque route to Ban Poung Hieng, a Khamu village, then on to Ban Houai Chang which is the entry point to the national park at Phouhipi. Your route continues to isolated villages rarely see ‘outsiders’ and you will see people going about their daily, working in the fields.  This large village of around 1,600 inhabitants is close to the waterfall at Nam Pung where you can also enjoy some stunning views across the mountainous countryside.

The falls are only accessible on foot and your trek of around 1.5 hours starts by crossing the fields around the village before following an uphill path to reach the waterfall. As you climb, you will see some amazing rock formations and the villagers have put a strong rope in place to help you climb to the top of one of the formations to enjoy the breathtaking view.

Alternatively, you can opt for cycling aroun the river Nam Pak passing by local villages through the Tad Muan
