This 12 days private culinary adventure tour of Vietnam and Thailand take in delectable street food, private cooking classes, fascinating culture and dynamic cities. Indulge in the vibrant cuisine of Vietnam and Thailand on this wonderful five-course journey through some of Southeast Asia’s most exciting cities and beautiful landscapes.

Welcome to Hanoi where you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the heart of city. The afternoon can be spent on your own to check the wide, tree-lined streets, French colonial architecture or the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake.

Your private culinary tour of Vietnam and Thailand kick-start here: After breakfast, head out to sample the famous local egg coffee (No, it’s not an egg on coffee), and enjoy the morning just like locals do. Later, explore Hanoi’s highlights, including the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, the Governor’s Palace, and One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, head for a cooking demonstration, followed by a cyclo tour of the old Quarter. 

In the evening, pick up for a private local food tour in Hanoi, walk through Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Sample Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup), Try Banh Duc (traditional cakes like young rice), then get a world famous Banh My, Che desserts, and finish with a beer in a cafe while meeting with smiling locals.

Start the day with a private transfer to the airport, fly to Danang (70 minutes), then transfer to Hoi An for 35 minutes ride. Arrive and check in & enjoy the pool at your hotel.

Hoi An is small enough to stroll around and soak up its rich wealth of heritage. A private walking tour to visit the atmospheric Old Town to see the Japanese Merchant Houses & an iconic bridge, the Chinese temples, old tea warehouses, temples and traditional pagodas. Motorised traffic is banned from the town centre which has cemented Hoi An’s status as one of Vietnam’s most prized and pleasant towns. End the day with an evening food tour around the old town, sit and sample local foods from a local shop-house.

A private tour of Hoi An start, our guide will take you on a foodie adventure, starting at Hoi An’s colorful market to meet the vendors who supply Hoi An restaurants with some of the finest and freshest ingredients from the nearby farmlands.

Back to the kitchen and learn the secrets of local foods demonstrated by local master-chef followed by a wonderful meal at the end.

Start a different day, meet the fishermen on Thu Bon River. Join the private long tailed boat to meet local fishermen & try your hand at casting the Vietnamese fishing nets, taught by a local with years of experience.

Later, you will also get to navigate the waters in a round basket boat, through the tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways whilst learning about the area’s history. Back to Hoi An, lunch and local meals at a fine local cafe.

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City via Danang. A new energy and lease of life, often referred to as Saigon. Enjoy the afternoon by pool at your hotel.

Experience Saigon after dark on a Vespa, explore the lively streets and tasting Southern Vietnam culinary at authentic local restaurants. Then head to a local bar for a cocktail night before returning back to your hotel.

Start early to join the locals in Saigon, visiting the bustling Ho Thi Ky flower market and Tao Dan Park where a crowds of locals join for the morning Tai Chi. In the afternoon, join a private tour to visit a fascinating blend of colonial architecture and modern innovation, wearing its history on its sleeve. Visit the poignant War Remnants Museum, along with the Reunification Palace, the French Colonial Central Post Office, and the 19th-century Notre-Dame Cathedral, decorated with festive lights.

Bangkok is a haven for shopping and foodies and without doubt, is part of any Thailand itinerary. Bangkok offers everything from lavishly decorated temples to bustling markets and high-end shopping malls. And, of course the Thai food, some of the best in the world.
Join an exciting dinner cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Enjoy a 2-hour dinner buffet featuring global cuisines, accompanied by a live band performing 80s and 90s hits from ABBA, Donna Summer, and The Supremes.

Bangkok is a whirlwind of exotic energy; join a private tour, sightseeing includes Wat Pho, the dazzling Grand Palace and a stroll through Chinatown. Later, sample Thai foods as we go and end the afternoon by a freshly brewed Thai beer.

Fly to north, arrive & private transfer to your hotel. Chiang Mai is a relaxed, laid-back city in the foothills of Thailand’s northern highlands. In the evening visit local night market, time for some souvenir shopping and sample some local street foods, eat just like locals.

Indulge in the vibrant cuisine of Vietnam and Thailand on this wonderful multi-course journey through some of Southeast Asia’s most exciting cities and beautiful landscapes.

As an entrée, begin with two nights in Hanoi in Vietnam’s north. Explore the capital by bicycle before being introduced to city’s famous street food with a local expert and its favourite creation, pho noodle soup.
Next up are the sand beaches and UNESCO World Heritage Centre of Hoi An’s Old Town. Between wandering its charming streets and relaxing by the sea, you’ll be guided around the food market before a private cooking lesson with a chef, visit an organic farm and try fishing in the traditional way.
Continue south to Ho Chi Minh City where you’ll discover the vibrant streets as if you were a local and hop astride a vintage Vespa moped for some more delectable street food.
Then it’s to Thailand and its contrasting capital, Bangkok, where shining skyscrapers tower over ancient temples and neon lit streets. Sample classic dishes from stalls tucked away down hidden alleys and enjoy sweeping river views on a dinner cruise.
End in the green hills of Chiang Mai where you’ll spend a day at a renowned cooking school and afternoon tea by the gilded Doi Suthep temple.
