The 11 day Saigon to Bangkok tour kick-start here and after breakfast, private transfer down to Ben Tre to take a cruise through the Mekong Delta, an area known as the ‘Rice Basket of Vietnam’. Paddle through the maze of palm-lined canals, and enjoy a typical Mekong lunch. Later, travel to Can Tho for an overnight stay.

A morning visit to the Cai Rang floating market will give you the chance to experience an authentic Mekong Delta morning. Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals.

Private transfer back to Saigon for a guided walking tour to visit highlights of the city including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum.

Confront the reality of guerrilla warfare at the Cu Chi Tunnels on a guided private tour, crawl through a section of the tunnels and fire weapons including M16’s and AK47’s at the firing range.

Sunset at hilltop Wat Phnom rounds off the day.

Fly to Siem Reap. The Angkor Archaeological Park encompasses over a thousand temples. The tour begins at Ta Prohm – a temple which has been left in the grips of the jungle. Continue to the walled city of Angkor Thom and pass through the magnificent South Gate. At Angkor Thom’s centre is the enigmatic Bayon, a temple of innumerable sculptural decorations. The rest of the day is dedicated to the indescribable Angkor Wat. While away an afternoon in its shady precincts, and examine its wealth of intricate embellishments.

Private tour to Kbal Spean to see the intricate stone carvings in the river bed and banks. Continue on to Banteay Srei, a richly embellished Hindu temple. Explore the early 12th-century temple of Banteay Samre before climbing to the summit of the Pre Rup for views over the lush paddy fields at sunset. Lunch will be taken at a traditional Khmer restaurant.
