Day 1 – Welcome to Vietnam Family holiday

Xin chao Saigon, arrive, meet and assist by tour manager, transfer to your hotel – family have free time to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 – Discover Saigon & Cu Chi Tunnels

Family start the tour and spend the morning discovering the guerrilla warfare tactics of the Viet Cong at the well-known Cu Chi Tunnels. Stop for lunch at an organic farm before returning to Saigon for an afternoon private city tour. This busy yet attractive city is Vietnam’s modern face to the world, but it is also a treasure trove of fascinating heritage.

See the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and visit the Central Post Office, the Reunification Palace, and the renowned War Remnants Museum.

Day 3 – Mekong River delta – Ben Tre

Vietnam family holiday 11 days: Following the day with an excursion to Ben Tre to take a Sampan through the mighty Mekong. Paddle through the maze of palm- lined canals and get a glimpse of daily life of the smiling locals on the Mekong Delta. Visit a local bee farm for a taste of honey tea before enjoying a typical Mekong lunch.

Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, and enjoy the evening.

Day 4 – Fly – Peaceful Hoi Awaits your Family

Following the 11 day family trip – Morning flight to Danang and take a short transfer to Hoi An. This afternoon, take a walking tour of the old charming town – a wonderfully laid back and peacefully traditional town, whose streets are a right to wander.

Visit an old merchant’s house, Quan Cong Temple, the elaborate Japanese Bridge and the bustling Hoi An’s market with your family.

Day 5 – Family visit to Tra Que village

Head out into the countryside to Tra Que with your family, a small farming village that supplies many hotels and restaurants in the area with lush fresh vegetables and herbs. Here families and kids can enjoy the lush green countryside, stroll through the gardens to see the farmers at work and try your hand at their traditional techniques.

This afternoon is at leisure to shop, explore, or perhaps head to the beach where young children can enjoy the idyllic beach.

Day 6 – Family travel to Imperial Hue

Depart to Hue, taking a scenic route over the magnificent Hai Van Pass. The red-book of Vietnam’s dynastic past, Hue is a dignified and scholarly city. Visit the historic Imperial Citadel and Forbidden Purple town. Once the stronghold of the Nguyen dynasty, the citadel’s atmosphere still retains the grandeur of its history. Continue to the old Thien Mu Pagoda before taking a cruise on the delightful Perfume River.

Day 7 – Tour Hue, family fly to Hanoi

Start the tour & family will get together to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Royal Tomb of Minh Mang, a complex of 40 monuments set in the surroundings of gardens and pools. This afternoon, fly to Hanoi, arrive and transfer to your hotel – enjoy the evening in Vietnam’s charming capital city.

Day 8- Private family tour of Hanoi

The family holiday starts in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam – Private tour includes visiting the Ho Chi Minh Quarter, learning about this major figure of Vietnamese history. Visit the Mausoleum and the Presidential Palace of Uncle Ho, along with the humble Stilt House he called home. Also visit One Pillar Pagoda and the Confucian Temple of Literature.

End the day’s explorations with a Rickshaw (Ciyclo) tour through the Old Quarter and enjoy a flavourful Vietnamese egg coffee.

Day 9- Halong Bay Family Cruise

Drive to Halong city from where, your family board a traditional junk boat on Halong Bay and cruise out toward the tranquil scenery. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a vision of jaw-dropping beauty, it’s easy to see why it is one of Vietnam’s most favourite destinations and why any family holiday ends here in Halong Bay.

Enjoy excursions such as kayaking or exploring island caves before returning to the ship for dinner.

Day 10- Halong Bay – Hanoi

Rise early this morning for a beautiful sunrise over the bay. Join the optional Tay Chi session over the sun-deck – later enjoy the breakfast on board – then, return to Hanoi after brunch on deck and enjoy an afternoon at leisure. This evening, Family holiday is at your plan to enjoy the Hanoi old quarter. Sample local foods and or relax at your hotel.
