Vietnam Laos Cambodia 21 Days Itinerary start – pick up form your hotel, an excursion to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. These cramped warfare tunnels were central to some of the war’s strategic operations, including the famous 1968 Tet Offensive.
This afternoon, explore modern Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). We pass the Notre Dame Cathedral, visit the impressive Saigon Central Post Office, see the Reunification Palace, and spend some time in reflection at the poignant War Remnants Museum.

Travel 2 hours to Ben Tre to take a cruise on the Mekong. This area is called the ‘Rice Basket of Vietnam’ because of its fertile land producing rice, vegetables and tropical Vietnamese fruits – upon arrival, paddle through the maze of palm- lined canals and get a glimpse of daily life on the Mekong Delta. Lunch on typical Mekong fare. Return to Saigon later on late afternoon.

Fly to Danang, arrive and take a 30 min transfer to Hoi An. Arrive and check in.
This afternoon, take a walking tour of Hoi An – See Tan Ky, a traditional house occupied by descendants of the same merchant family that originally built it over 200 years ago. Visit Quan Cong Chinese Temple and stop to admire the pink-hued Japanese Covered Bridge, constructed in the 1590s.

Join a 3 km cycling to visit Tra Que (or transfer by car), a local farming village just outside of Hoi An. You’ll have time to join farming families and experience local lifestyle on the herb and vegetable farm, which supplies most of the local restaurants. Learn the traditional methods the farmers use to plant, fertilise, and harvest the crop, then try your hand at raking the ground and sowing seeds. Lunch here at the local restaurant.
Back to Hoi An and send the rest of day walking around the old town, do shopping or head to he nearby An Bang beach.
